BIO
Emaan Pirzada is a Pakistani visual artist based in Bristol, UK. Trained in Indo-Persian miniature painting at the National College of Arts, she works across painting, drawing, printmaking and collage to explore how domestic spaces and architecture shape memory, identity and belonging.

Her work has been exhibited across Pakistan, South Korea, the UAE, Europe and the UK, including at the London Art Biennale 2025 and the Chianciano Biennale 2026. She has undertaken residencies with DRAW International, Jelly Studios and Kolaj Institute. This year, she received an artist grant from The Eaton Fund to support the development of her ongoing body of work.

Alongside her studio practice, Pirzada has worked in teaching, curation and arts management. She has taught in Cairo and Istanbul, served as Assistant Curator at Satrang Gallery, and worked as Project Manager at Foundation Art Divvy, promoting South Asian art and culture. She also volunteers with the Roman Baths and the Stradling Collection, building on her interest in heritage and collections.
